  1. I remember the day when I admitted into this prestigeous institute. That was April 01,1981. G.D langlands was our principal. Sir Sher Ali was our housemaster of Abdali house. He was a tall young goodlooking person and Manzoor Ahmed wahgra was Assistant House master. We were upset first because there was no communication with our families. we were writing letters and then telephone line came to Houses. later on in 1982 principal approved TVs for the houses. At 9:00 PM every night we were watching TV for news. Then Muhammad Salim, the then Vice Principal bought a VCR and students were allowed to watch an indian movie once a week on payment of RS 5. The first ever movie we watched at cadet college Razmak was "Himalya ki Good main".Gul Nawaz marwat was incharge of VCR.

  2. we were the 4th entry of the college. It was hard to discipline the students in the begging as the 1st entry were having 3 classes and some students were big man at that time. But slowley and gradually we get accustomed to an organized life. PT and drill in the morning and games in the evening and eating full bowl of "daal chawal" in the dinner in winter are events that one cannot forget. i remember when we were in college we couldn't wait to pass the time and now we cannot bring that time back. I remember scrating dates on Calendar and counting days to go.I haven't seen some of friends of those days after college.

  3. Mr. G.D Langlands was our Principal. when we were in class 8, he used to tell us a story. "alpha papa Alpha delta tango". His famous story, most of the old Razmains know, how happy we used to be in his English Class. I remember him on trip to Alexendra fort, He was energetic and strong and climbed the hill walking.

I am an old x-cadet, nobody know me anyways. Therefore I feel comfortable to be anonymous. Futhermore it give me an edge to express myself freely without being personaly known.

I have some old diaries of Cadet College Razmak. As soon as I get a chance I will post on this forum.

    Thanks

  6. One day Sir Fazal Rabi ( English Teacher 1981 ) ask Class 8th students to spell word "Glue".Nobody in the class was able to spell the word. So he asked Pir (Peon) for Stick. Then he punished the whole class like donkeys and told the class that they will never forget the spelling of "Glue" in life. Atleast I still know the spelling of "Glue" after 31 years. Thank You sir for your kind punishment, atleast I remember something about your goodself.
